تفاعلت صحف إنجلترا مع فوز مانشستر سيتي ببطولة كأس العالم للأندية، للمرة الأولى في تاريخ النادي الإنجليزي، مساء اليوم على حساب فلومينينسي.

كان مانشستر سيتي قد فاز على فلومينيسي البرازيلي، بأربعة أهداف دون رد، في نهائي كأس العالم للأندية نسخة 2023.

ونجح مانشستر سيتي في التتويج بالبطولة من خلال مشاركته الأولى بها، حيث حقق بطولة دوري أبطال أوروبا لأول مرة في تاريخه، خلال الموسم الماضي. ردود أفعال صحف إنجلترا على تتويج مانشستر سيتي بكأس العالم للأندية

وكتبت صحيفة “ذا صن” الإنجليزية: “حقق مانشستر سيتي مجده في كأس العالم للأندية، ولكن مقابل تكلفة باهظة، حيث يعاني لاعب الفريق الأساسي رودري من مشكلة واضحة في الركبة”.

وأضافت: “سحقوا فريق فلومينينسي البرازيلي 4-0 في جدة ليفوزوا بنهائي كأس العالم للأندية، لكن بيب جوارديولا سيشعر بالقلق الشديد تجاه لياقة لاعب خط الوسط المؤثر رودري بعد تعرضه لإصابة في وقت متأخر من اللقاء”.

وواصلت: “سقط اللاعب الدولي الإسباني البالغ من العمر 27 عامُا على الأرض وهو يعاني من الألم بعد التحام من أليكساندر لاعب فلومينينسي، لقد حاول الاستمرار، لكن ذلك لم يدم طويلاً حيث قرر جوارديولا عدم المخاطرة بنجمه وسرعان ما أخرجه”.

واستمرت: “كانت هذه الخطوة منطقية حيث كان فريق مانشستر سيتي متقدمًا بالفعل بنتيجة 3-0 في تلك اللحظة، وخرج رودري وهو يعرج، من العلم أن مانشستر سيتي خسر جميع مبارياته الأربعة في غيابه هذا الموسم، وسيكون جوارديولا يائسًا لإبقائه متاحًا لفترة الأعياد المحمومة”.

واختتمت: “ولحسن الحظ، كان رودري قادرًا على الصعود والحصول على كأس الكرة الذهبية، التي تم منحها لأفضل لاعب في البطولة، وسرعان ما انضم إليه زملاؤه على المنصة عندما رفعوا كأس العالم للأندية”.

من جانبها، قالت صحيفة “إندبندنت” الإنجليزية: “أضاف مانشستر سيتي كأس العالم للأندية إلى رباعية الموسم الماضي بفوزه الكبير 4-0 على فلومينينسي البرازيلي في جدة يوم الجمعة”.

وأضافت: “وسجل جوليان ألفاريز هدفين، أحدهما بعد مرور 40 ثانية فقط من البداية، بينما سجل فودين هدفًا، وجاء آخر عن طريق النيران الصديقة، وهذا هو التتويج الرابع للمدرب بيب جوارديولا في المسابقة، لكنه جاء بتكلفة كبيرة حيث اضطر لاعب الوسط المؤثر رودري إلى الخروج من الشوط الثاني بسبب الإصابة”.

وأكدت: “ويواجه مانشستر سيتي، الذي افتقد خدمات إيرلينج هالاند بسبب مشكلة في القدم، انتظارًا قلقًا بشأن لياقة اللاعب الإسباني قبل استئناف الدفاع عن لقب الدوري الإنجليزي أمام إيفرتون يوم الأربعاء المقبل، مع العلم أن رودري غاب عن 4 مباريات هذا الموسم، وخسر مانشستر سيتي جميعهم”.

واستمرت: “ورغم ذلك، يستطيع مانشستر سيتي الاحتفال بخماسيته، حيث ظهر الفريق قوي للغاية بالنسبة للفائزين بكأس ليبرتادوريس المتقدمين في السن”. 

وكتبت صحيفة “مترو” الإنجليزية: “توج مانشستر سيتي بكأس العالم للأندية للمرة الأولى في تاريخه بعد فوزه على فلومينينسي بنتيجة 4-0 في المملكة العربية السعودية، هدفان من جوليان ألفاريز، بالإضافة إلى هدف من فيل فودين وهدف نينو في مرماه، ضمنوا فوزًا تاريخيًا للسيتي على منافسهم البرازيلي”.

وأضافت: “إنها البطولة الكبرى الخامسة التي يرفعها فريق بيب جوارديولا في عام 2023، بعد كل من دوري أبطال أوروبا والدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز وكأس الاتحاد الإنجليزي وكأس السوبر الأوروبي، وأصبح مانشستر سيتي رابع فريق إنجليزي يفوز بكأس العالم للأندية بعد تشيلسي في 2021 وليفربول في 2019 ومانشستر يونايتد في 2008”.

وتابعت: “ورغم ذلك، لم تكن كل الأخبار جيدة بالنسبة لمانشستر سيتي، حيث تعرض لاعب خط الوسط النجم رودري لإصابة سيئة، والتي يمكن أن يكون لها تأثير كبير على آمالهم في الفوز بلقب الدوري الإنجليزي إذا تم استبعاده على المدى الطويل، حيث يتأخر رجال جوارديولا بالفعل بخمس نقاط عن المتصدر آرسنال”.

أما صحيفة “ميرور” الإنجليزية: “لم يمض وقت طويل حتى حلم مانشستر سيتي بأن يكون أفضل فريق في المدينة، والآن نجح في غزو العالم، حيث رفع الفريق كأس العالم للأندية للمرة الأولى في تاريخهم”.

واسترسلت: “لقد كان أداء قويًا من قِبل السكاي بلو، على الرغم من أن رؤية لاعب خط الوسط رودري وهو يعرج في الشوط الثاني سيكون مصدر قلق لبيب جوارديولا في رحلة العودة من الشرق الأوسط”.

واستكملت: “وأصبح مانشستر سيتي الآن أول فريق يفوز بكل من الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز ودوري أبطال أوروبا وكأس الاتحاد الإنجليزي وكأس السوبر الأوروبي وكأس العالم للأندية في نفس العام”.

في حين قالت شبكة “بي بي سي” البريطانية: “سجل جوليان ألفاريز هدفين ليقود مانشستر سيتي للفوز بكأس العالم للأندية للمرة الأولى بفوزه على فلومينينسي البرازيلي في المملكة العربية السعودية”.

وأضافت: “التتويج يعني أن مانشستر سيتي سار على درب مانشستر يونايتد وليفربول وتشيلسي في رفع كأس العالم للأندية، لكنه أصبح أول فريق إنجليزي يفوز بخمسة ألقاب في سنة تقويمية واحدة”.

وأكدت: “لكن بعض الفرح تلاشى لدى مانشستر سيتي بعد رؤية رودري – المؤثر جدًا في صفوف الفريق – وهو يخرج مصابًا في اللحظات الأخيرة من الشوط الثاني”.

وقالت نظيرتها “سكاي سبورتس” بعد المباراة: “أضاف مانشستر سيتي كأس العالم للأندية إلى مجموعته من الألقاب بعد فوزه في النهائي بنتيجة 4-0 على فلومينينسي، لكن الفوز جاء بثمن مع مخاوف مقلقة من إصابة لاعب خط الوسط رودري”.

وسردت الشبكة تفاصيل ما حدث في المباراة مع تركيزها على إصابة البرتغالي، حيث كتبت: “لكن الليلة كانت متوترة بعض الشيء بالنسبة لمانشستر سيتي حيث خرج رودري مصابًا ويعاني من الألم بعد تدخل عنيف من لاعب فلومينينسي أليكساندر”.

Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Irfan has said that he is targeting the upcoming limited-overs games against Sri Lanka to make his international comeback.Irfan, 33, has not played for Pakistan since March, when a stress fracture of the pelvis prematurely ended his World Cup. He did, however, make a return to competitive cricket on Saturday during a domestic T20 tournament in Faisalabad, and picked up a wicket with his very first delivery.”I am playing here [in Faisalabad] with the permission of the cricket board and selectors,” Irfan told . “They wanted to see how I respond after recovering from the injury and I am hopeful I would be considered for the one-dayers and T20 game in Sri Lanka next month. I enjoy cricket and bowling and it is a challenge bowling in T20 cricket, but I have learnt how to cope with the mindset of the batsmen now.”Irfan said that while he gained a lot from the World Cup, where he took eight wickets from five matches, missing Pakistan’s quarter-final loss against Australia was a huge disappointment.”I am fine now and completely fit as the rehabilitation process has been very good, but the regret is still there,” he said. “I couldn’t play in the World Cup quarter-final against Australia and that was such a big match. I was so pumped up in that tournament and was bowling with fire but I guess one can’t fight such things.”

Jehan Mubarak expressed disappointment at squandering two starts in his first Test in more than seven years, but said he has refined his game enough to now belong at Test level. Mubarak had underwhelmed in several early stints in international cricket, averaging less than 16 from his ten previous Tests. However, a pair of exceptional domestic seasons has seen him selected for the national team again, at 34.”I did have the opportunities earlier on, but I didn’t do enough to cement my place in any form of the game,” Mubarak said. “I feel I am a different player from what I was seven years ago. A better player. I have come to know my game inside out. I understand what my strengths, weaknesses and limitations are. I worked on my weaknesses during the club season – I was not a sweeper but I started to sweep against the spinners and use my feet. I was hungrier for runs.”I always felt I was good enough to play at international level. Still feel I am good enough. Hopefully I can build on from what I have got. I need to step it up a bit more. But I think I can get there.”Mubarak made two modest scores in this match, hitting 25 in the first innings and 35 in the second. Opening batsman Kieran Powell looks set for a return to West Indies’ first-class cricket competition after a gap of almost two years, after he was picked in Leeward Islands’ 13-man squad for the Regional 4-day tournament match against Guyana, which starts from March 11.Powell last played a first-class match for Leeward Islands in April 2014. He went on to play the Kingston Test against New Zealand in June 2014 but has been out of the West Indies squad since then. In February-March 2015, he played four first-class matches for Tamil Union Cricket and Athletic Club in Sri Lanka’s first-class Premier League Tournament.In January 2015, Powell issued a statement saying that mixed signals from West Indies cricket authorities had left him “deflated and confused” as he attempted to return to international cricket after a self-imposed break for the game. This resulted in his decision to step away from the game for some time. In January 2016, he tried his hand at baseball, without much success.Leeward Island Cricket Association chief executive, Richard Berridge, told that Powell had said that he was mentally prepared to return to first-class cricket.”Kieran was always going to come back to cricket. I don’t know the exact details but what I do know is that he made himself available to us,” Berridge said. “He said he was ready – mentally ready to return to the game – and therefore the selection panel chose to include him in the squad for the ninth round.”For the Leeward Islands Cricket Board it is certainly positive news. O atacante Marinho tem sido peça fundamental na sequência invicta de seis jogos do Santos no Campeonato Brasileiro. O camisa 11 foi responsável por boas atuações, três gols e duas assistências. Além disso, o Peixe é o terceiro colocado do torneio, com 65 pontos.

Sem chances de conquistar o Brasileiro, Marinho já projeta 2020. Ele vê que sua história no Santos ‘está apenas começando’ e acredita em conquistas para a próxima temporada.

Além disso, a Raposa vem pressionada. Depois de empatar com o rebaixado Avaí na última rodada, o time mineiro segue flertando com a zona de rebaixamento na 16ª posição.
